Mission Statement: Our mission is to serve the citizens and taxing units of Loving County by providing lawful, equitable, and accurate appraisals of all property in Loving County; and by responding to the concerns and questions of those citizens and taxing units in a professional and courteous manner.

The Loving County Appraisal District appraises property for ad valorem taxation of these taxing authorities.

Loving CAD WILL NOT accept BPP Renditions by email or fax. Late penalties will be determined by post office cancellation mark or common/contract courier receipt mark. You may send a copy and/or backup data by email, but email date will not satisfy deadline requirement.



The duties of the appraisal district include:

Tax rates and ultimately the amount of taxes levied on property are determined by governing bodies of each of the taxing authorities.
Mineral, utility and industrial accounts are appraised for the district by Pritchard & Abbott, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas.
Real estate and personal property accounts are appraised by Pritchard & Abbott, Inc.
